Do I need an account?
No. Download Wren and it works straight away for 14 days. If you buy, your licence key arrives by email and activates with one click.
Can I use my own AI key?
Yes, on every plan, always. OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Cerebras, OpenRouter, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or a model running on your own Mac. Bring-your-own-key is never behind a paywall.
What does Pro add?
Built-in AI and web search through Wren, so there are no keys to manage. It includes a fair monthly allowance; if you ever reach it, you can switch to your own key until it resets.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Pro yearly includes a lifetime licence, so Wren keeps working with your own AI key. Pro monthly becomes yours after 12 payments.
How many Macs?
Three, on every plan. You can move a licence between Macs from Wren’s settings.
What does Wren send anywhere?
Nothing, unless you use AI or web search. Your usage history stays on your Mac. Licence checks send a random ID for your Mac, never what you type.
